The start of not-on.tv was triggered by the first Les Blogs in April 2005.
I always get inspired when I visit a conference but this time I got inspired beforehand.
I really wanted to go but at first glance I wouldn’t have the opportunity.
The thought that some great content will pass me by triggered the question:
Why are conferences so badly documented?

In this day and age is perfectly possible to show a presentation.
I take my enthusiasm and ideas seriously and act upon it, so I wrote Loic an e-mail proposing to document Les Blogs. And to give the speakers the opportunity to inspire more people then the relative small number of people that can attend it for numerous reasons.

He took me on and I filmed the whole conference with 3 camera’s.

The concept:
1) You take a backpack of apparatus and get to the event you’re going to document, take an additional cameraman with you if nessesary. After this you edit the pieces together and publish it on a customized vlog within not-on.tv.
You can document the event with minimal cost and maximum exposure.
2) On invitation go places / events / happenings and vlog about it.
3) Lets put nice video’s I make on the web to share! Return the favor.

The special vlogs on not-on.tv:
- weallspeakfootball.not-on.tv
- internetcreatieven.not-on.tv
- lesblogs.not-on.tv
- levendzand.not-on.tv

Within half a year small companies saw the same opportunity and stepped in.
That’s great it gets the information out there, but it killed the first part of the concept.
The second and third part is great and even more fun. And I plan to make a profession out of it.

Vloggin rules!
