“By 2010 computers will disappear. The will be so small the will be embedded in our clothing. Images will go directly to our brain creating full emergence in virtual reality…. If you go to 2029 we will have 2-25th power beter price performance capacity…. it will be millions of times more powerfull then it is today…. a $1000 of computer will be far more powerful than the human brain in term of raw capacity… we are going to merge with these technologies… it will be a great expansion of our intelligence… growth is exponential not linear.”
Progress is inevitable. So these predictions by Ray Kurzweil just blow my mind because if you only look at the growth curve, he must be right.
