My father, because of his profession, finds a lot of sick and weak seals on the beaches of Ameland. They and the ones found on other islands are being nursed back to health in the Zeehondencreche Pieterburen (Seal Research and Rescue Center). After a while they are set free again on different locations in the Wadden Sea. This time it was on Ameland.
