Our first time: loopingstar

Me and my (almost) 8 year old son tried the loopingstar at Attractiepark Slagharen. For both of us it was the first time to do a looping.
In the end I think the looping itself is more spectacular for the viewer than the participant. The corners of the track, made at high speed, had the most impact on us. Looping being a mentally kick, cornering a physical one.
To celebrate our loosing our virginity I bought the video they made.

Looking back. My big & bold son does looks small and vulnerable. Should hug the guy even more. Brave.

I remember when I finally had the balls to ride a rollercoaster like that. I was much older than your son.

    Hello Jay,

My son and I shared our first time here. I didn’t have the balls before.
And this only happend because Seye wanted it so badly. I just did my fatherly duty. Must say it was great, will do it again someday. But bigger and better :-)

    Hello Robert,
Yes I should. But there is so little energy left between work and children, although sharing life on video also gives so much more.
Am trying to find my way back.

When you go upside down, you can see pure fear on his face, while you’re grinning broadly – and then, 5 seconds later, he’s grinning too.
    I love these things.
Great to see you posting – I too find it hard to find the time. But isn’t it great, you can go away for months or years and come back to find that you still have your old space to post things, with people subscribed!
